Meet The Founder
Hello! I’m Mardaysha Harris, the founder of Cultivated Minds Educational Services, a passionate advocate for educational equity, special education, and social-emotional learning. With a strong foundation in school psychology and mental health counseling, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting students, families, and educators in navigating the complex educational landscape.
I hold a Master’s in Education and an Educational Specialist degree, and I am a nationally certified school psychologist. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of working in multiple school districts, where I’ve helped students thrive through special education assessments, interventions, and personalized support plans. My experience in school systems like DeKalb County and Newton County, as well as my work at Karis Rehabilitation Services, has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students, especially those in underserved communities.
Beyond assessments, I’m passionate about social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and leadership development for students. I’ve led virtual counseling groups and provided support to students facing grief, behavioral struggles, and anxiety. These experiences have shaped my belief that academic success and emotional well-being go hand in hand. I’m committed to offering holistic support that empowers students to reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

At Cultivated Minds Educational Services, I focus on providing culturally responsive services that honor the diverse backgrounds of the families and communities I serve. Whether through individual coaching, workshops, or consulting with school districts, my mission is to bridge gaps in education, help students develop leadership skills, and provide families with the tools they need to advocate for their children’s success.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me indulging in my love for travel, self-care, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m a big believer in the importance of balance and enjoy finding joy in DIY projects, planning events, and engaging in physical activities. If you’re looking for a compassionate, expert partner to support your family or school district in addressing educational, behavioral, and emotional needs, I’d love to work with you to help cultivate the next generation of leaders. Let’s make a difference together!
